Women and Youth in Agric-Food Systems
Tereto is a women and youth-focused organization working to transform agri-food systems in The Gambia. We promote inclusive, climate-resilient, and nutrition-sensitive agriculture by empowering women and young people with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive across agri-food value chains.
Our work strengthens sustainable food production, value addition, entrepreneurship, and market access while advancing gender equality and youth leadership. By placing women and youth at the centre of agri-food systems, Tereto contributes to improved livelihoods, food security, and resilient communities.
We collaborate with communities, institutions, and partners to build equitable agri-food systems that support economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, and healthy diets for present and future generations.
